Came here to post the exact same thing.
It's east to criticize (and rightly so), but honestly, who out there is knocking it out of the park defensively against elite, modern offenses?
As an example, Venables gave up 35 in the first half against Ohio State.

I agree. Golding definitely got better as season went along. Since Ole Miss, Defense has been playing better. No one even noticed that Moses played better last night.
