Not sure where you heard we weren't paying out bonuses. I know UGA had to reduce their's.

Also, they were working on an extension since March. This is just off-season stuff by his agent to give Mullen more ammunition in negotiations.

Stop obsessing over the team that owns you and look at your own problems. Like the fact that Kirby can't coach.

In what way does Florida own Georgia?

I am not the one who posted that, but I saw it in an article, too. (USA Today) After your post, I was curious, so I did some looking around. In fairness, it does not seem to call out Bowl bonuses directly....just all bonuses.

You are correct, though, that Georgia cut their bonuses.

Florida’s Dan Mullen also did not take a cut, and Florida is not awarding bonuses this season. Mullen would have had $200,000 in bonuses so far, with a chance at $500,000 more.

Interestingly enough, they put this little blurb under the Texas A&M Jimbo Fisher headline.
USA Today

This article came before their bowl game and was more about the impact of Covid than any other factors, so it could be wrong about bowl bonuses.

I would guess this is where the poster got his information, though.
