The tournament is in a bubble in Indiana this year. They will field the 68 best teams, regardless of how many games they played, and play as scheduled. Besides, it three months away and they aren’t losing March Madness for the second year in a row.

I don’t understand your correlation between covid cancellations and tournament qualification. If you miss 4 games, so what? It’s not football. You can easily consider a teams resume with 20 games played.

Just like some of the Bowl matchups this year.

Not arguing that, but it will be watered down with teams that do not belong because they have to have a tournament this year.
