Hasn’t Mullen done this before? Float a rumor out there to try and renegotiate a contract? Seems like he has. Not really sure why an NFL team would want him when there are other options out there to be honest.

Almost every year at Mississippi state and it always led to contract extensions. (MS state law only allows 4 year max )
