I get that the programs hasn't come close to expectations, but come on man. Comparing AU to Vandy is just ridiculous.

I was there when Barfield did the same thing and in comparison what Malzahn has done is arguably worse. Because Barfield didn’t inherit a program that had won a national championship a mere 3 years prior and stocked with solid SEC talent.
The program I see now is absolutely comparable to the level of program that Barfield left Dye and that was a near Vandy-level program back in December of 1980.
