Oh. In that case maybe we should just call all of the bowl games playoff games if that is all it takes to be meaningful. We will never have enough meaningful games, right?
Using your logic it would only make sense to go to 16 or 32 teams in the playoffs. just think of all the meaningful games.

It simply depends on how many post season games without opt outs you wish for. Opt out bowls don’t seem to bother you though.
