I think Book is criminally underrated. And he's really effective at buying time. But I just don't think his receivers are good enough to win matchups against Bama's secondary. He consistently was able to buy time against Clemson, but receivers just couldn't get open. Unless Bama turns the ball over a few times, I can't really see this being that close.

I think you stated their situation well. Book is not the limitation, it's their outside guys. IMO, Bama actually did a decent defensive job vs UF, but they have some exceptional guys who made many good and great plays. It's simply impossible to stop a well executed offensive play. Bama sacked Trask 5 times, 4 with 4 man rush, 1 with 3 man rush. Bama had much more success rushing 3 and dropping 8 into coverage. ND will not likely make as many plays as UF. ND kind of lost heart when they got nothing out of those 2 trips to the red zone early. Did little after that.
