The quick passing game has made it where “winning the line of scrimmage” is not necessary on every play.
Pat Sullivan won a Heisman and a big stat game was 15 of 24 for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Now 300 yards passing is not really big news. Mac and Trask both had 400 yards in a big time game.
30 points used to be enough to win 80% of games.
Not sure how to bring defense back. Maybe narrowing the hashes might help a little?

Can start by letting defensive players hit WRs to dislodge the ball and let defenders smack the QB til his ribs hurt
