He threw a whole 22 passes this year, and didn’t throw an INT. Had two NFL level throws vs Kentucky. There will be no QB battle next year.
There won't be because Young will step right in. However, he won't have the same o line. The Bama o line this season was one of if not the best I've ever seen. Bama will lose their center and left side of the line. It won't be as easy for Young as it was for Jones.

OK time for me to straighten all of you out. The Bama OLine will drop off next year yes. Some. But, with the rules the way they are, returning starters and seniors that may opt to come back to raise their draft stock, we don't know yet how much. We know two starters return. What happens if it's three or even four?
Not to mention those recruiting classes and players that have been waiting their turn.
Now as to Kyle Trask. Outstanding football player that lost the Heisman vs LSU and Bama. There's a difference between outstanding player and a winner.
Racking up big stats and looking great is one thing, but you can't throw the ball to the other team and lay it on the ground in crunch time and be a winner.
Trask did those things vs LSU and Alabama. Mac Jones doesn't.
