It was the late season collapses that stood out the most. They would always start with high aspirations and then drop a game they shouldn't have before eventually losing to either Georgia or Bama or both.

The one year they didn't do the latter they got smoked in the SEC title game. Can't go out sad like that.

Very similar career as Sumlin. Had some good years and high hopes, but in the end had a very noticeable ceiling.
