Based on his performance thus far, Drink looks like a he will be a better than average coach. Maybe even an outstanding one. The question is if he has sustained success will Missouri pony up the money to keep him?

I would say yes, but he's getting paid pretty well already ($4 million).

If Drink demonstrates sustained success, I guess that would be evident by the time all this additional cash starts rolling in from the new TV deal with ESPN.

Mizzou will have the money to bump up Drink's pay if he gets the Ws to justify it. They probably already have it right now. There just wasn't a reason to overpay for a coach coming from Appy St. until he put a few skins on the wall in the SEC.
