At this point I say we go full throttle on the Beamer experiment. Put together a young no name coaching staff that wants to be here for something more than a paycheck. A braintrust of sorts, that starts working to develop some new things that we make our own as a program. I'd rather go 2-10 for cheap, trying to build something from the ground up that is OURS, than spend another 5 years chasing the next big thing, begging them to come here to be overpaid for underperforming.

Develop an in house identity and brand, something along the lines of dependable gritty Baws that show up every game to create a hostile work environment with reckless abandon (kinda the perception of the fans/program already). Once the culture is established, the team starts working like a team, then we can look for big whigs to bring in and conform to Carolina football, not the other way around.

Great idea, feel like I've read or heard of this before somewhere. I may even know a guy whose literally done all of those things and fits that entire hiring profile. Hell he even had a full staff ready to go. And I can put him on a fricking bus today.

And I would have been just as well, maybe a little happier with him to begin with. But we've got Beamer, I say we make the best of it trying something new. He sure as hell isn't going to make us into anything if he just tries to follow the same old model.
