Burrow.
2. Trask.
3. Mac.

I know Trask and Burrow can carry their teams without running games, I don't know if Mac can do it. He has a lot of easy passes, easy reads etc..

In the end, Trask is passing into pure passing defenses and Burrow was just on an entirely other level.

Ok, so you know nothing about football!

Burrow, without the legs OF CEH & company would have, had a very difficult time running for his life every play!

MAC, does an excellent job of stepping away from the pressure and with his lightning quick release, the ball is out of hand before the Defense arrives!

Now, go away before you embarrass yourself, any further!

Mac is basically a soldier on the shooting team.

He's in an air conditioned building with the best equipment firing away under pristine conditions. He asks for nothing, he has everything he wants.

Trask and Burrow were basically the reason Florida and LSU can be considered elite. They're soldiers. They go to war, they win the wars way more often than they lose them. They're battle-tested.

Mac is not. It's not to say he wouldn't be a good "soldier", but what's asked of him isn't nearly the same. Consider:

Alabama looks virtually the same every year. You guys win pretty much all or all of the games no matter who plays Quarterback.

Before Trask, our offense scored on average for the last decade: 27.2 per season.

With Trask's first start (where he started at the beginning of the year): 42.

With Burrow LSU had the most prolific offense in the country, probably a top 3 all time. Without him, their offense can't seem to do much at all.

Mac will leave Alabama, and your offense will be virtually the same with the next guy. Why? Because the Alabama QB position is one of the most pampered positions in the country.

You only have to make one read over 50% of the time.

Your receivers are all studs.

Your offensive line is huge and well coached.

Your RBs are consistently amazing.

The majority of your throws are probably one on one.

To say he's great when he hasn't had to actually win games with his arms, or had to throw to win as I like to put it, is premature.

He may be very good, but until he actually has pressure to make plays, we can't know if he's as good as Joe or Kyle. This also isn't a nod to say that he's a bad Quarterback, simply acknowledging that he is in the most favorable of positions to be successful.
