Most LSU fans hated the Orgeron hire. Then he caught lightning in a bottle so everyone had to jump on board. The true Orgeron is back and so is the fans wanting O gone. Happens all the time in coaching. See Auburn.

Why? He had a good little run as the interim USC head coach. He knows Louisiana well. What was the scuttle butt when he was hired?
