That was 100% Joe Alleva suckering the normal adult LSU fan base. (As opposed to that relatively small, but vocal, collection of Sunshine Pumping Lunatics with rock bottom standards of excellence)

Most of us knew what and who he was, but hoped for the best.

He got "Lucky' with a one year "Bottled Lightning" scenario with Brady/Burrow.
