1) Experience across the board (seniors)
2) young talent with one year experience (Green)
3) talent under center much improved
Jimbo has a clear emphasis on OL/DL recruiting. It’s not sexy but it’s how you build programs that can win 10+ a year every year regardless of turnover. An elite OL can make a sophomore QB with limited experience look like Payton manning. An elite DL can make a soft secondary look serviceable.
And we have more depth than we have had in a long time which is very important.

I think the answer has already been covered: a more experienced o-line with another season under most of their belts and coaching.
To be honest, I think it’s why Mond has improved this year. I don’t know if he’s necessarily that much better himself over his junior year (still inconsistent at times), but the o-line being better has made him look better as a QB.
