re: So, now that it’s official, what are you’re honest thoughts of us playing against Bama?

I have a feeling Mullen has been sandbagging a little bit lately because he’s been preparing heavy for Bama. He knows we just have to win out. Style points don’t matter.

They pretend as though they're not, but this is the first time where I've felt confident a coach was actively doing things to not show his hand.

People had suspicions about McElwain, but it never was the case. With Mullen, you can see that he just tries to end the game, save his plays and move onto the next. Which somewhat is to his detriment, because people see the final score and think it's way closer than it was.

It was 31 - 7 deep into the fourth against Tennessee.

38 - 17 vs. SCAR.

34 - 7 vs. Missouri.

56 - 21 vs. Arkansas (mid fourth)

31 - 10 vs. Kentucky.

In all honesty, our defense has pretty much held up in every game until the very end. It's just agonizing, though, because we know when a drive is going to be a touchdown. We can just...see it happening in slow motion, and when it does happen it feels worse than it actually is.

I think we can score with them, I don't think Alabama's defense is amazing. Teams have passed on them fairly well. If Mond and Corral can throw for 300+ yards, Trask can as well.

i have a feeling that if we utilize pick plays, it's going to get called. we can only assume Saban has stated his case to someone in Birmingham about it because it was finally called against us in the Tennessee game. we know Clemson killed them with it in one of the natty games. we can do it, but i don't think Saban will allow it to happen.
