Let's say you were out sick and got replaced on your job by someone based upon skin color or sex...and not because they could do the job. They then proved they could not do the job, and instead of bringing you back when you were well, they kept the other person and told you you were fired. Would that bother you?

Of course, but we aren't talking about me. We are talking about the kicker at Vanderbilt. I'm sure of that did happen to me the kicker at Vanderbilt wouldn't care about that happening to me either.

This Vandy situation is a microcosm of the horseshite that is happening more and more in society though. That's why this board is talking about it so much.

Giving people stuff they don't earn or deserve just because of the color of their skin or what's between their legs is a huge problem. It shows me that decision makers don't care about bringing in the best people for the job and would rather be able to point to how woke they are and score points on social media.

But it did happen to the regular kicker at Vanderbilt.

And if it happened to him, it could certainly happen to you at your job. There are all kinds of injustices happening in the world, and if they are not stopped they will continue and grow. I am not talking about perceived injustices, but very real ones.

My point? If you do not care about others, then others will not care about you.
