Walters struggled too much vs Bama, UT, LSU and UF for my comfort.

He has greatly benefited from going against USC and Vandy when their teams had completely quit already.

The UK game wasn't too surprising because run D has been OK. Walters has yet to stop a passing offense with a pulse.

Florida and Bama have struggled on defense also. As a matter of fact there's not many good defenses around the country including Ohio St. and even Clemson,

Even the great Nick Saban has conceded that defenses can't stop these offenses. Being consistent and having your guys well coached and disciplined is the goal. And that's not easy as Pellini is finding out at LSU even with all that talent he has to work with.

Walters is doing a hell of a job with young talent, a well developed LB and safety, and has overcome poor DL recruiting. My only issue with him as far as being a HC is recruiting chops.
