he may be stepping down at the end of the season.

Good for all of us

Also nice to see a former assistant kicking arse and coaching a top 10 team

They always seem to get away don’t they?

Brad Underwood has always been a better basketball coach than Frank. he & Figger were both on staff at K-State with Martin and were the only two assistants here in Cola (1 year only for Underwood) that ever challenged Frank on any of his in-game decisions/subsitutions. they would all jaw-jack one another like brothers during games/timeouts regularly. Frank's replaced both of them with an entire staff of "yes" men who only kiss Frank's arse - outside of Perry Clark, but his role was another situation altogether before his retirement.

Frank's not stepping away from USC anytime soon. he's got it too easy here and he knows it. only caveat is UMiami job if it opens.

Frank was -10 (-18 SEC) in his first 2 seasons.
he was +31 (+10 SEC) in Thornwell's JR/SR seasons.
he's +3 (-8 SEC) in all other seasons.

if he's not able to recruit any significant talent - he won't win here in the manner he's paid to win here. USC should have a coach that can recruit significant talent.
