Did Jackson ever host any "doubleheaders"? Back in the day when Bama and Auburn used to play in B'ham, Legion Field occasionally hosted a Bama game and an Auburn game on the same day and night. Evidently parking and traffic were loads of fun

Nevermind, I-59Tiger answered for me

Actually, Alabama played in several DHs in Jackson. Often in the 60's and 70's LSU-Ole Miss and Alabama-State would be on the same day and they'd play double headers. I know this happened for a fact in 1971 and 1973. Maybe in '69 and '75. They also played Ole Miss in Game 2 in 1970 after Georgia-Miss State.
