If I remember correctly, and I do, Alabama had no time outs with time running out when Saban ran onto the field around the 10 demanding a measurement. When they were obviously a yard short The lousy refs called timeout to measure and they were a yard short allowing Alabama to get lined up to run a final play. Should never have happened and why was Saban allowed to be on the field 20 yards outside the box. Should have been an unsportsmanlike penalty. Also the pi called on Arkansas was bogus. Have never seen a halfback punish a defense like DMac did in that game. He sent 6 to the sidelines and 2 missed several games.
