I agree with you in a lot ways. I do not think that it has or will set us back. WE are about the same place as we were. I think that Next year or the following Barry will get another opportunity.

The problem is where you will be in 10 years.

You had someone who was committed to the next 25 years, which is exactly the blueprint Pinkel created for optimal success at a school like Mizzou.

You need to build a solid 8 win program who can hit on 10+ win season when things align properly with the depth chart.

The guy you have now is sharp in ways, but is not in it to stay.

You can think you'll be in a win-win if he does well and leaves, but I disagree and at best you're rolling the dice over and over which doesn't bode well for the odds.
