Woowowwooow look at all those 5-stars at Florida! fricking three of their top five receivers this season are RB/TE LMAO. Tank Bigsby has shown this year that he can absolutely catch the ball - why didn't we use HIM to abuse Georgia in the passing game like Mullen used Davis/Wright? It didn't happen because Malzahn doesn't have that level of schematic creativity to CHANGE his offense in order to expose potential weaknesses depending on who he's playing. Mullen obviously found a weakness in Georgia's defense and abused it. Malzahn runs the same game plan regardless of who he's playing - when has he ever done done anything incredibly creative in the passing game to create mismatches? Let me point out to you all that we have one of the fastest human beings on the planet and he averages a whopping 11.1 yards per reception. An actual offensive "mind" would be licking their chops to create space for a player like Schwartz to catch the ball in stride with space around him. Instead of opening up the playbook with him, we use him on two/three repetitive plays that everyone has seen a million times already and can sniff out on formation alone. We've seen the past 2-3 games that Schwartz CAN do other things than just sprint straight down the field and jet-sweep, so why haven't they been doing that this entire time with him? Its because in Malzahn's offense everyone has a "role" and once you become the "speed receiver" your job is to basically have the ball thrown over your head 5 times a game on plays that every DC in the country can see coming.
