We only play 18 SEC games before the SECT.
In 2014-15 Kentucky went 18-0 and won the SECT.
That's the year they went 38-1 with their only loss coming in the national championship game.

I think he was combining football (11-0) and basketball (8-0), which I'm confident is a Big 2 sport conference record start.
