Quite possible. In fact, my theory is that they moved quickly to sanction the Football program for boosters stealing from a children’s hospital to pay players so they could levy the LOIC charge and maximize the penalties given to the basketball program.
We shall see. Regardless, we now see that the NCAA isn’t just standing by and letting it happen - as many accused them of. I expect Bama to see some light sanctions as well.

Then again, he didn’t grow up in Mississippi, graduate from Mississippi State, and then embarrass himself by lying about attending grad school. Not sure who would do that.
