Looks like the NCAA grew some teeth. Brutal.
Well if they are going to cite the FBI case, it's going to be a long list of perp walks. Surely they won't cherry pick teams/enforcement. I remember lots of teams not named LSU mentioned in that trial. The list includes Duke, North Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan State, USC, Kansas and Alabama.

I imagine all of the schools involved will receive a varying degree of enforcement actions. I stated previously in the thread that I expect there to be some light sanctions on Alabama.

as of right now, there's nothing. just some rumors and a recording of wade saying something that doesn't even raise an eyebrow in the cbb world.

Reportedly the actual basketball infractions under investigation are:
quote:

At the heart of the NCAA’s inquiry into the university is another sport entirely. The men’s basketball team and coach Will Wade have been in its crosshairs since opening a probe in September 2018. A July letter from NCAA vice president of enforcement Jon Duncan to the Committee on Infractions said his staff received information that “Mr. Wade arranged for, offered and/or provided impermissible payments, including cash payments, to at least 11 men's basketball prospective student-athletes, their family members, individuals associated with the prospects and/or non-scholastic coaches in exchange for the prospects' enrollment at LSU.” SI also has received similar information regarding at least one recruit.

Ugh, you seemingly forgot the part about the LSU booster funneling money to LSU players that was stolen from dying, likely underprivileged, children.

He never funneled money to players. Get your facts straight brah.

I can't believe how many LSU fans still think
i'm surprised at how many idiots think they know ANYTHING about this case, much less that lsu actually cheated. all you halfwits know is clickbait. that's it.

The second the NOA drops, the unversity and Will Wade no longer have the same goal. Wade is fighting to keep coaching and the university is trying to avoid the most severe punishments. Scott Woodward will have Wade's shite in a box waiting for him
