Dabo is the obvious choice but maybe it's too obvious.

He's got Clemson going good and Dabo is basically going to go down as the Clemson Bear Bryant/Saban.

At Alabama he'd be forever living in the shadow of Saban. He could even win a national championship or two and he'd still be seen as second fiddle. That's gotta be a big turnoff.

Ideally for Dabo is Alabama hires a coach after Saban who fails and then Dabo comes in after that coach and he's way more appreciated and celebrated.

That's exactly what will happen (see Roy Williams at North Carolina).
