The first stat is surprising. The second isn’t. It would be interesting to see an implied or weighted success rate geared more heavily towards 3rd and 4th down stops. Ultimately, defensive success means getting stops.

Yep - 3rd down issues are the difference in us being a very solid defense and an average defense.
