That said, is there a reason to doubt that Nebraska's titles were not legit? There were no clouds hanging over the program at that time. No investigations, or allegations. And they were named by the AP and/or Coaches poll.

I hope you aren't one of those UGA fans who think that we're clean while everyone else pays players.

No, I'm not. But we haven't been caught. They did, so they forfeit. Isn't that the way it works? It did with Ole Miss. It is with LSU. It has with Ohio State and it is with USC.

Any time you cheat you take a chance you will be caught. If you get caught you suffer. If you don't get caught, you don't suffer. But if you get caught, you don't just wave a magic wand and everything goes away. And saying, "Well everybody else does it!" isn't a defense.

Next time you get a speeding ticket tell the cop "Everybody else does it!" and see if you still have to pay the ticket.
