Meyer would probably be fine at Bama. His personality is not much different than Saban's.

I am not saying Miles and the others are not top notch coaches, but how much "coaching" do they actually have to do with a virtual plethora of talent at their disposal.

I just think there are excellent coaches that aren't allotted the proper respect for their coaching ability simply based on W's. You can be the best coach on earth, but if the talene tlevel doesn't match your rivals, then you are pounding sand.

Meyer would get eaten alive at Bama. Saban is a perfect antidote to the fanbase. And they love him for it. Meyer would have 11 players apologizing for him after a loss instead of just one.
