it is really hard to rank the SEC coaches though. All of them are so good,

You really have to ask how would somebody like Miles do at State? How would Croom perform at Florida? What would Urban do at Vandy? It's tight. Think about the salaries they are making and how hard it will be to win each division. It seems some schools ain't gonna get their money's worth. Some good coaches will be on the hot seat soon.

Excellent post. As I have said before, the top 6-8 coaches in this league are like trying to choose between Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston. Not better, just different. I also think that Meyer, Richt, Saban, Miles, Croom, Nutt and Tubbs are at the perfect school right now. By this I mean, I don't think Miles would do well at MS State but has been dominant at LSU b/c he is the right coach at the right job, Croom would be terrible at Florida but has been good for St, Saban is the right coach to build Bama but Meyer would be a very bad fit. Petrino and Spurrier are kind of weird fits though, in my opinion. All of these excellent coaches speak volumes of the type of conference the SEC is. RTR.
