It should be illegal it is much more dangerous than what is now considering targeting imo.
These dudes are 280lb minimum those knees are already under maximum stress.
The choo block should be an immediate ejection it's just disgusting to go after someone when they are already engaged. I hope karma gets after anyone losing the battle in a game to a better player to resort to taking them out.
My favorite defensive lineman ever (Glenn dorsey) was never the same after playing aubie and getting taken out. He was a freak and a monster he continued the game and season but was never the same. It limited his nfl impact and he always had knee problems.

That is a true chop block. A defender is engaged high in blocking straight up with someone then another comes in out of nowhere and hits them low. Yesterday was the inverse of that. Our OL went low on tbe DL (perfectly legal) and as tbe lineman was coming through that cleveland engaged him high.
It was against the rules but it wasn't intentional or malicious, unlike the chaz ramsey play which was simply dirty as all hell
