I heard there is a “gentlemen’s agreement” that whatever happens, both teams are considering coaching change. With the early start, maybe things can be worked out while both men are there.

Is it possible they just swap coaches for rest of the season? Would buyouts be reduced for both? Maybe the ADs could do contracts at halftime to hire each to reduce the other’s buyout, decreasing contract to 2 years with 5 million dollar buyout.
