Kirby is right that it’s just coach speak. But in this case, it’s an accurate description. UGA, talent-wise, should blow Auburn off the field. If it doesn’t happen, which I’m assuming is Richt’s concern, it reflects pretty poorly on him. UGA beating Auburn handily is what the talent disparity says should happen

Not at all. Just because you have the best talent doesn't mean you are going to beat everybody.
1. Upsets happen every year.
2. Alabama pulled in the top class 7 or 8 years in a row, yet still lost games.
3. Coaching plays into games.
4. Injuries play into games.
5. Lucky breaks play into games.
6. Weather plays into games.

I mean we could go on and on with the different variables that play into the way a game plays out....there are hundreds. Talent definitely gives a team the upper hand, but if you think talent alone determines the outcome of a game then you don't pay close attention to football.
