Do we really need to spell out for you how difficult it is to do what he did at Washington State? And yes, even harder than Texas Tech and Mississippi State.

Leach took over the worst P5 program in the country in a spot with zero talent anywhere around for him to pick from. After he got his guys in there he averaged about 8 wins a year, and had an 11 win year. Anyone that thinks he can’t coach is a fricking idiot. Just because he hasn’t coached at programs that recruit themselves doesn’t mean he isn’t a good coach. O at Washington State would look like O at Ole Miss. Success as a football coach is relative to where you’re coaching. How fricking stupid do you have to be to follow college football and not know that? Are you 16?

In the 5 years before Leach arrived at Wazzu they won 14 games. In Leach's first 5 years at Wazzu they won 29 games. In the following 3 years after that they won 26 games.

We saw Leach back in the Big 12...he can score on anybody. In 2016 he hung 59 points on #6 Oklahoma..and got beat by a late touchdown. If a team has any weakness in the LB/DB area..it will be a long afternoon for someone. People in the SEC, especially LSU, aren’t paying attention. Leach has a veteran transfer QB with a career 62.5% passing completion rate. Leach’s air raid offense doesn’t require NFL quality receivers, just an accurate QB. Just like LSU last year with Burrow’s.
Can score on anybody based on scoring against a Weak defensive Oklahoma 2016 team. :rotflmao:

Well he beat Oregon plenty of times also beat Stanford and USC plenty of times. This was with top 50-60 recruiting classes. I think he knows some things.
