Just curious...how does the kicker lose a game that a team was trailing before the drive started and the kick would've only tied it?

It’s simple math. If you are down 2 and he makes it, the kicker has won the game. Down three and he makes it, the kicker has tied the game and given you a chance to win.

A miss in those situations means that he has ensured your team loses the game.

I feel like a Bama fan should know all about kickers.
