Dawg fans arent expecting the Patriots offense. Just a few more touchdowns than we got in 2019.

Why?

Based on 2019 alone, we only need to fix 2 things on offense. A viable deep threat. Less predictable running game.

Matt Luke reinstituted power into our run scheme against Baylor. That will create more opportunities for big running plays that we were lacking last season.

If the offense institutes more air raid concepts, we have the pieces to execute it. Pickens, Robinson, Cook, Burton, and Washington are all capable of thriving in air raid.

In 2019, teams were capable of sitting on the first 12 yards from scrimmage and limiting both our run and pass game. Any threat to force a change from that would have improved the offense. We have very good reason to expect to stress a defense in more ways this year.

As I said, we arent going to be 2019 LSU. But we were too talented for the results we got in 2019 (particularly in the run game). That is why Coley was fired. That is why Luke is an opportunity for more explosive running plays.
