Well, if the brain is not fully developed, then why should they be in the military, open bank accounts and be allowed to marry or even allowed to have sex?

If I'm not mistaken, the current push isn't even for blanket legalization of marijuana. Its just for small amounts. The dealers moving large quantities would still be prosecuted as they are now.

The number one reason none of these proposals will ever happen, even though they make a lot of sense, is money. The fines, court costs, confiscated property, etc that the state rakes in busting small fry people with weed is more addictive than pot could ever be.
