Think about this from a business standpoint. Saban has it made. $32 million and all he has to do is show up and coach...it doesn't matter if he wins or not. Why would he leave willingly? All he has to do is lose enough games and he'll be fired and still be $32 million richer.

Now from Washington's standpoint, why would you take a chance and give up big money to someone that already has it made. I mean come on...if he would walk away from $32 mil then he'll walk away from whatever Washington can pay.

I believe he set the standard with his current contract and I think any team would think long and hard before luring him away and signing a similiar contract. Besides, I don't think the man's ego would let him admit failure at Alabama.

Not sure if the city of Miami agrees.

Credible because Emmert has even more pull at Washington than at LSU. Emmert got Saban everything he wanted at LSU as Chancellor.

What do you think he can do at Washington as the University's President. Emmert doesn't take "no" for an answer, if he wants little Nicky, he will get little Nicky. Emmert is politically savy, probably one of the best Chancellors ever at LSU because of his political prowess.
