Before the schedules were released it was said that Bama and Florida were the problem. Everyone was on board with adding the next year's opponents except those two. (Don't know if that's true but that was the word at first). After that they said it would be based on SoS, which it clearly isn't, and the offices refuse to release the formula they used to assign the schedule. The schedules clearly favor certain teams that everyone thinks have a better chance of competing for the championship and the conference has no answer as to why. THAT is a problem no matter who complained about it and FWIW, it was half the league that complained.

And the reality is, they were questioning the bullshite response the SEC gave in to how they came up with the schedules. It's literally right there in the article.

quote:

The conference call with coaches and SEC officials turned contentious after one coach asked for specifics on how the league selected the opponents, sources told ESPN. Unsatisfied with the response, sources said as many as four other coaches chimed in with their own concerns.

Now imagine if this was a meeting over SEC Officiating and schools were told they can't question it because "it is what it is, deal with it". This place would burn it the frick down.
