Probably a bit of both, honestly.

Most football players are top-tier athletes and are way healthier than most people. Presuming that the amount of damage is normal with other viral infections, they're better off than most of us. The flip side is that if it turns out to be way more severe, then the constant aerobic activity could trigger things that most of us never encounter.

Personally, I'm thinking they'll be okay - but we should realize if just one person dies from it, or is severely hospitalized from it, that'll be it. They won't take the chance, because even if they sign a waiver nothing will stop a massive legal onslaught if a kid dies from it.

The same article being sent around includes the doctor saying you can easily test for myocarditis.

But that hasn’t been included in any of the headlines
