Correct, once the Big 10 said only league games, the MAC was financially better off not playing. The Mountain West the same thing once the Pac12 went to all league games. Those FCS programs rely on Pay day games from the Power 5 and the University budget subsidizes those Schools athletic budgets. Financially, all of those Universities Sports programs drain resources from the Schools academic mission and need P5 Money to function.

Once the P5 went all league games, those schools financially were better off not playing and could use COVID-19 has the PR narrative.
