It’s pretty arrogant and short sided of these Presidents to just assume fans will come back next year. You take away a staple in people’s lives for years, and they’ll find something else to do/watch/support pretty quickly.
Then come next year the start of football season just won’t be that big of a deal...

It's not arrogant at all. It's reality.

Such as what? Hunting? Fishing? Everything else has been postponed/canceled.
