The last few pics I’ve seen of him have been neck up and his face looked quite a bit slimmer to me.

Granted, Sam’s one of those few folks who can be as big as he is and still be kinda cute and look neat and not look like a total slob- we all know a few of them- so IOW this isn’t meant to be a criticism if he hasn’t just a good on him if he has for health reasons.

He said that him and Barry Odom have been going on walks every day and that Odom is pushing Sam to catch up to him lol

I seem to remember him saying he would need to lose weight when he took this job. Something to the effect of needing to be healthy for the players. Or maybe I dreamed that

So, he quit drinking, drives himself around, actually recruits, gives a damn, and doesnt have folks eat his butt, and actually will win some games?

I sure hope so!

I never thought Bert looked slovenly in appearance, it was just shocking the amount of weight he put on here in five years. He wasn't a thin man when he got here, but he became borderline Mangino fat. He must have added 100 pounds. That's alarming.
