If no one gets the top 300 players, those coaches would still get the best remaining players and there wouldn’t be a noticeable difference. Not sure why you’re pulling 1600 players because 1600 players aren’t getting paid to play minor league football, but the same logic would apply regardless.
Assuming that the P5 , the Top65 colleges get the best HS Recruits, then 65 schools X 25 incoming Recruits = 1,625 of the Top HS Players end up at P5 colleges
Recruiting outside that Top1600 is a recipe for failure if you are P5 HC
If a developmental League was formed and had 15 Teams in different Regions of the Country, lets say 15 Dev Teams X 60 players on each Roster = 900, that 900 might not come out of the same HS Recruiting class, but since the NFL takes players after 3 yrs out of HS, a developmental league could easily start to siphon talent off the top of each yearly Recruiting class
There is a difference between a league made up of guys CUT from NFL Rosters trying to compete for TV dollars outside the traditional FB Season and the most elite HS players taking talent and eventually TV money away from CFB as time passes
None of the other Dev Leagues are designed to directly compete for college sports TV dollars, a new Dev League for FB just might do that
I wonder what Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is gonna do with the XFL , I just read where he just bought that League, doesn't mean he's gonna try to pay HS players so you slippery slope over-reactors can just calm down

So the P5 is going to lose all their players if they don't start paying them? What fantasy world do you live in?

watch it fail like every other non-NFL professional football league has

If I understand you correct you are saying the traditionally strong college teams will get an equal amount of top 300 recruits as the lower tiered schools?

The major difference being that elite HS kids cant compete with guys cut from NFL rosters.

So you're saying a league entirely of what would otherwise be college kids.
No one is going to shell out millions and millions of dollars to basically copy college football except in a regional rather than university format.
They'd take a loss for years while trying to see if it'd work and there's no reason for an independent league to do that just to develop players who will leave for the NFL.
None of that makes any kind of business sense whatsoever, you're living in the land of make believe.

God you are so lame.
If you have this competitive league of high school talent that is going to knock off P5 football as we know it, why isnt the Under Armor and Army All American game a sell out and tv advertising for the game competing with MLB/NCAA/NBA for cost per commercial?
They have the best talent collected on the field. Where are the fans in the stands?
Are the small fans watching on TV tuning in because of the high school talent? Or are they hoping to see their university's upcoming freshmen do something good in the game?
You really know nothing about nothing. I'd say that GT scammed you. You didnt get your money's worth.
