Dude, people just don't want sports to be politicized. Part of the attraction of sports is that it's an escape from IRL drama like politics. When leagues start forcing in politics exclusively from one side, they are going to lose viewers and deservedly so

Did something change from "to allow" to "start forcing"?
Reminds me of all the stupid people who got upset about Tebow.
