Or sports and a pandemic just don't mix. Instead of champagne in the locker room this season it might look more like it was hit with a molotov cocktail.
Sports, according to the numbers that we're tracking, made a lot more sense in April, May, and June then it does going forward. And it didn't make any sense in April, May, and June.
Meh. The death rate of this virus is going to end up being far less than 1%. If you have 99.6% odds of survival for the chance to go make millions, you gonna sit at home? It's just not logical. Most of us are at more risk of dying every time we hop in our cars and drive to the grocery store. Does that stop us? Of course not. Every decision in life is a risk/reward decision. For these young, elite athletes, their risk is probably in the .0001 percentile. It's basically a non-factor statistically. Now, I get guys who live with a high-risk person wanting to keep them safe--but for many millions--I'll move out for 3 months and live in my own apartment. Just seems like a big overreaction by a huge portion of our society to something that's basically 99.5 percent non-lethal.

If only the damn virus was only transmissible through anal intercourse with water buffalo...
If the whole country caught it at a 1% death rate, what's 1% of 383 Million people?
