Maybe Florida has a little more variety, but Louisiana seasons, prepares, and cooks everything better.

I’ve lived in just about every SEC state and I agree with this. But it depends what you like as well. If you like to fish and cook yourself, it’s hard to beat Fla. with the variety of places you can go fish. Freshwater, saltwater, crustaceans, deep sea fishing, all within reach. But if you like someone else to cook for you, there’s many great restaurants across the south. It’s very easy to have favorites in every city.

Overall, most places in Louisiana just does it right. People in LA just know how to cook. They can move to other states and take their great cooking with them. That state makes the best cooks by far. No place makes great gumbo like LA.

I can always tell when a place has a chef from LA.

In Florida, you're also not as prone to a spillway being opened 3 months straight and destroying the eco system.
