Not only has TAMU not won a title since 1939, they haven't even been ranked #1 in a weekly poll since Bear Bryant was their coach.
Last time ranked #1 in an AP poll

2019: Alabama (Oct. 20th)
2018: Georgia
2014: Mississippi State
2010: Auburn
2009: Florida
2007: Missouri*
